"Bridging the gap between the Golden Age of 90s harsh noise and the modern mutant guard, Respirator (Houston, TX) and Confounder (Athens, GA) join forces for a 7” of meticulously crafted and crude hallucinations. Each side of the 7" lures the listener down its own starless corridor—a contorting environment hosting a horde of anomalous occupants. Viscous currents of phantom chatter and mangled atmosphere drift under an enveloping exchange amongst clattering objects, scattering insects, and fried electronic artifacts that warp in and out of focus."
